Hye Harvest Farms believes in the hemp plant, the people who grow it and the value of knowing where your products come from. We grow hemp in Hye, Texas, and use that work to make hemp-derived products guided by the Hye Standard from farm to finish.

The farm started with a simple goal: grow good flower, take care of the land and make products that fit naturally into people’s lives.
The Story Behind Hye Harvest Farms
Leah Woolford and Ross Ramon, two Texans with years of shared business and family history, co-founded Hye Harvest Farms.

Leah, a serial entrepreneur, began building companies in her 20s and has kept going ever since. During a routine checkup in 2018, her doctor diagnosed her with late-stage cancer. As a result, her experience during treatment changed the way she thought about hemp and pushed her to spend two years learning more about botanicals and plant-based wellness. Along the way, she spoke with scientists and medical industry experts and followed every question she had about hemp.
That research brought Leah back together with longtime friend and colleague Ross. Ross built his career in digital media and later became a C-level executive at a multimillion-dollar company that went public under his leadership. After leaving the industry, the two reconnected around a shared interest in how hemp should be grown. They wanted to build a farm around better growing practices and more control from soil to finished product.
Growing Texas Hemp From the Soil Up
Ross started with the soil. First, he focused on living soil, careful cultivation and finding the right people to grow hemp in Texas. Then, he brought together a small team of botanists, farmers and cultivators who became the Texas Wild Flower Growers.
What Is the Hye Standard?
Together, Leah and Ross built Hye Harvest Farms around the Hye Standard. At its core, that means living soil, no pesticides, zero synthetic cannabinoids and close attention to every crop grown in Hye, Texas.

From Texas-Grown Hemp to Finished Products
Today, Leah and Ross continue to grow Hye Harvest. As the farm has grown, they have stayed close to the process. Hye Harvest produces Texas-grown hemp flower used in hemp-derived THC, CBD and CBG products, keeps production small and uses third-party testing for each batch.
